ArtistOpp is built and operated by runMast LLC. It helps artists research opportunities, organize application materials and share selected items with the community. This page explains how the current pilot uses information.

Signing in

Google sign-in requests your basic profile and email address. We store your Google account identifier, email address and name to identify your account and connect you to your artist space. We do not request access to your Gmail inbox, Google Drive or contacts, and do not retain Google sign-in access or refresh tokens. Google Drive discovery is a separate, optional connection: with your consent we temporarily retain an encrypted read-only metadata access token valid for up to one hour. Expired tokens are cleared during connection requests and the periodic cleanup. It lets us list file and folder names, types, modification dates and links while you browse chosen folders; we do not read document contents. No Drive refresh token is retained. Disconnecting removes the stored access token; you can also revoke access in your Google Account. Unselected scan results stay in the review screen; only the file details and locations you select are saved to your catalog. Local folder scanning runs on your device after you choose a folder; it does not upload file contents. Read-only folder handles are held in that browser, and selected relative locations, names, types and dates are saved in the private catalog. Email sign-in uses a temporary, single-use code. Optional passkeys store a public credential; your fingerprint, face recognition data and device PIN stay with your device.

Your artist space

We store your search briefs, research results and history, saved opportunities, application notes and uploaded materials so you can return from another browser. Saved search criteria are used by the research runner and its AI service to find relevant public opportunities. Saved material text, uploaded files, external document links, notes and application-version relationships are kept privately in your account. Saving a link does not copy the external document or change its sharing permissions; if you choose to copy a drafting prompt to another service, that service receives what you submit.

Community and feedback

Community posts and an optional directory profile are visible to other signed-in artists. If you opt into the directory, your website and social links and any featured artwork you upload are visible there too. Featured artwork is separate from private application attachments. You can remove artwork or turn off your directory profile to stop sharing it; images are served only to signed-in artists and access is checked on each request. Removed artwork can be restored with Undo; removal from the gallery is not permanent file deletion. Your email address, private search settings and application materials are not included in the directory. Opportunity overlap indicators show counts, not other artists’ identities or search briefs. Feedback reports contain the description you submit and any screenshot or diagnostics you choose to include; these are available to the product operator for troubleshooting.

Service providers and browser storage

The pilot uses Cloudflare to host the app, database and uploaded files, Resend to deliver sign-in and optional notification emails, Google to verify Google sign-ins, and an OpenAI-based research runner to perform searches. These providers process the information needed for their role. The browser uses a secure session cookie, currently valid for 30 days, and local preferences such as theme and text size. Signing out revokes that browser’s session; it does not delete your account history.

Choices and requests

You can edit your search and profile, control research email notifications, choose whether to appear in the community directory, and sign out. For questions or account/data deletion requests, contact stewartdavidp@gmail.com. Account deletion currently requires contacting the operator.
